Our vision sees Stirling become a world class city that celebrates society, diversity and sustainability.

Set among scenic parklands and city-style housing, the centre’s vibrant and safe ‘heart’ will encourage social activity and complement its enviable location. Ultimately, Stirling will be recognised as the international example of community and sustainability excellence.

Goals (within 800m of the train station):

• Activity seven days per week
• 12,500 dwellings
• 30,000 jobs
• 25,000 residents
• 30% affordable housing
• 20% single bed and 25% allocated for families

The vision also includes:

• Improved public transport connections
• Parkland with urban stream
• Remediation and development of the former Hertha Road tip site
• Strengthened links to freeway and other road links
