The Stirling Alliance is striving to develop a ‘culture of sustainability’ that would see sustainability integrated into the very soul of the city.

The Community and the Alliance have identified the following 'must haves' for Stirling:

• Activity seven days a week
• Alternative modes of transport encouraging walking, cycling & public transport
• A unique and recognisable city centre
• Hubs within the city centre that are easily accessed
• Self sufficiency
• Usable public spaces with places to meet and exchange ideas
